    Bio: Peter has a degree in Journalism, an Honours degree in Political Science and Mass Communication and a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Peter is registered with CASLPO and practices in Toronto, Ontario. He has a variety of experience assessing and treating adults and children in schools, habilitation centers, and in clients' homes. He has worked with pediatric and adult clients of varying ages in the assessment and treatment of receptive and expressive speech and language disorders, including articulation and phonology disorders, literacy, fluency, voice, stroke, acquired brain injury, and autism spectrum disorder.

    Peter works with corporate clients, teachers, parents, and other team professionals on realistic functional goals that maximize a client's communicative potential. Peter is also an accomplished filmmaker and has participated in a number of film productions aired on television and film festivals worldwide.     Bio: Sehrish has a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida. She then completed her Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Toronto. Sehrish completed coursework in myofunctional therapy from the Academy of Orofacial and Myofunctional Therapy. Sehrish provides myofunctional therapy to address tongue thrusts, lisps, open mouth posture, excessive saliva, thumb sucking, and improper tongue resting position.

    Sehrish has collaborated with patients, their families and health care professionals while providing speech, language and dysphagia services to both adults and children of various cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Sherish provides accent reduction lessons to large corporate groups and individuals.Sehrish has experience working with developmental disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down's syndrome and adults with dysphagia including Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and stroke. She also has experience working with pre-school and school-age children with disorders in articulation, delayed expressive and receptive language, motor speech and acquired brain injury.

    Sehrish completed Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy course work at The Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy - AOMT. Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy is neurological re-education exercises to assist the normalization of the developing, or developed, craniofacial structures. Sehrish provides speech therapy to help with tongue thrust, open mouth breathing, lisps and low lying tongue placement.

    Bio: Amabelle Mayordomo has a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from McMaster University. She also completed a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education. She has over 15 years of experience working with preschool and school-aged children, teachers, and families.

    Amabelle is a Hanen-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (It Takes Two to Talk and More Than Words) and is currently in the process of obtaining an Individual Authorizer (IA) certification. Amy advocates for capacity building in parents, caregivers, and teachers through coaching, collaboration, consultation and family-centred care. She strives to develop a sense of agency for her clients and their families - and does this by giving them a voice and choice in developing functional and meaningful goals based on their priorities and needs.

    Amabelle has also completed additional training in motor speech and fluency treatment through the Speech and Stuttering Institute and trauma-informed care.

    Bio: Amanda graduated with her Master of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from the University of Western Ontario in 2013. She also obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Algoma University in 2011. She has been practicing in the pediatric population with pre-school and school-aged children for over 10 years and has experience servicing children with a variety of speech and language needs (e.g., articulation, motor speech, Autism Spectrum Disorder, fluency, receptive and expressive language, stuttering and literacy). Amanda is constantly learning new things by keeping up with the latest research and evidence based practices, especially with the Autism population. She is currently completing training in Gestalt Language Processing in order to better understand and support Autistic children and their families.

    Amanda’s creativity and enthusiasm as a SLP allows her to easily build rapport with children and their families. She strongly believes in a team approach involving the important individuals in a child’s life throughout the intervention process.     Bio: Chandeep has an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & Business from The University of Waterloo, with a research-intensive specialization. Chandeep has experience working with children within the areas of articulation, motor speech, fluency and voice as well as adults with cognitive communication challenges. She has experience with providing virtual and in person 1:1 sessions and group intervention.

    Chandeep has completed additional training including, Hanen’s It Takes Two to Talk and Phase One of the Speech and Stuttering Institute’s Motor Speech Training Program. She is very passionate about empowering children by using her clinical skills and knowledge to improve communication abilities along with overall growth and development.

Christine collaborates with clients, families, teachers, and oth-er health professionals to help further client outcomes. She works primarily in the pediatric population with pre-school and school-aged chil-dren. Christine has experience working with various populations includ-ing those with Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, as well as cleft lip and palate.

    Christine is currently enrolled in a program to achieve her Individual Authorizer status so she can provide select Augmentative and Alterna-tive Communication supports and devices for clients. She also provides accent modification therapy to improve intelligibility for corporate clients.     Bio: Ginette Despres was born in New Brunswick and later embarked on her academic journey at the University of Ottawa where she developed her passion for language and education.

    Initially pursuing a career as a bilingual educator, Ginette dedicated her focus to the Second Language Teaching Program, alongside an Honors degree in Linguistics. However, Ginette found that her path began to evolve as she delved deeper into the realm of communication disorders. Driven by a desire to make a tangible difference, Ginette transitioned into the field of Speech-Language Pathology, earning a Master’s degree from the University of Ottawa in 2005.

    Ginette has since been an integral member of communities in both Ontario and New Brunswick, working in French school boards and offering expertise to francophone, bilingual and multilingual learners. Additionally, her work in the private sector, both as a Speech-Language Pathologist and a French tutor for French immersion students, enriched her understanding of diverse linguistic needs.

    Recognizing the pivotal role of phonological awareness in literacy, Ginette is highly skilled in identifying and addressing phonological processing disorders and she is committed to collaborating with educators and families to help learners improve their reading and writing skills to reach their full academic potential. She is also adept at using multisensory techniques and providing therapy to students with a wide range of speech and language disorders, from articulation to social communication challenges. Ginette's knowledge and experience extend even further to include the use and implementation of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) with verbal and non-verbal learners.

    To stay current on best practices, Ginette actively engages in professional development opportunities such as annual conventions from ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) and AQOA (Association Québécoise des Orthophonistes et Audiologistes). Furthermore, her recent completion of the STAR comprehensive workshop for autism support and her affiliation with ABA Speech underscore her dedication to meeting the needs of autistic learners.

    Bio: Julia is a registered speech-language pathologist with a Master's of Science from Syracuse University in New York. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Queen's University in Kingston Ontario. Her range of experience includes assessment and treat-ment of children, adolescents and adults in schools, rehabilitation hospitals, university-based clinics and homes.     Bio: Kelly holds a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Windsor, a post-graduate diploma in Communication Disorders from Georgian College, and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. She is a CASLPO and ASHA-certified SLP with over 20 years of extensive pediatric experience working with children to support them with speech, language, and social communication needs. Kelly's experience working with children extends to young children on the spectrum, to provide early intervention for a variety of communication disorders.

    Kelly has completed a wide range of additional professional development training in areas of early intervention, parent-implemented intervention, early identification and intervention of social communication challenges, severe articulation, and motor speech needs. She is a certified Hanen instructor and PROMPT instructor. She was previously an adjunct instructor for the speech-pathology department at the University of Western Ontario and has presented at the Pennsylvania state and Florida state speech-pathology conferences. Kelly has mentored many new clinicians and SLP students, as well as supervised speech-language assistants.

    Bio: Laura attended Adelphi University for her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and her certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped. Laura is Registered with CASLPO and licensed to practice in Ontario, as well as being a member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC). She is also certified by ASHA in the United States and licensed to practice in the state of New York. Laura is a speech director at a private school for children with autism in New York City, where she has gained over 20 years of experience, working with this population. She also enjoys working with young children who demonstrate language delays, as well as articulation difficulties.

    Laura is trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques, including PROMPT, oral-sensory-motor skills, feeding, and articulation/apraxia, as well as AAC systems, such as iPad apps and visual communication systems. She works on receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language skills, speech production, social skills, and play. She often uses her knowledge of ABA principles to guide her treatment approaches, while bringing fun and functionality to learning.

Lauren has experience completing assessments and providing functional, evidence-based treatment to clients of all ages. Lauren has also worked with adult populations in both acute and rehabilitation hospital settings and has clinical experience assessing and providing treatment for dysphagia, dysarthria, apraxia of speech, aphasia, and cognitive communication disorders with stroke survivors, clients with Parkinson’s Disease, and clients with traumatic brain injuries.     Maria is a certified clinician for The Hanen Centre's It Takes Two to Talk® program. She has completed training in the Motor Speech Training Program with The Speech and Stuttering Institute, Oral Rest Posture Program, Treat Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) Master Course with the Auditory Processing Institute, and Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasia (SCATM) with the Aphasia Institute. Maria also has experience in foreign language education and has actively been pursuing professional development in the area of accent training services.

    Bio: Rachel graduated from her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology in the United States, where she spent the first year of her career working with the pediatric population in homes, schools, and other community-based settings. Her clinical experience involves assessing and treating clients of all ages with a variety of communicative goals. Rachel is a PROMPT trained clinician. PROMPT is a tactile-kinesthetic approach to speech therapy, which means that the speech-language pathologist uses touch cues on the client’s face (vocal folds, jaw, lips, tongue), to support and shape correct movement of these articulators.

    Most recently, she provided family-centred intervention to children ages 0-5 with receptive and/or expressive language disorders, as well as with a variety of articulation, pragmatic, and fluency disorders. Rachel has been a working member of The Speech Associates for 4+ years.

She came to the USA in January, 2016 after marriage, then worked as SLP in school settings. She has worked on different school sites with all different ages ranging from 3 years to 21 years. Sowmya has also worked in home-health settings with children from 1 to 5 years of age. She has 5 years of experience working with children with varied disabilities. She moved to London, Ontario mid 2021. She is registered SLP with CASLPO.

She also received a Master of Health Science from the University of Toronto in 2019.

    Stefanie has over 4 years of experience providing therapy for children, adolescents and adults. She has extensive experience providing service for those with developmental disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has completed training on Natural Language Acquisition (NLA), neurodivergent affirming therapy practices and trauma informed care. Stefanie has worked within augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) clinics in Toronto and has completed additional training in low tech and high AAC systems. Stefanie has provided service to AAC users using alternative forms of access for their device including eye gaze, switch and partner assisted scanning.

    Olha’s practical experience as a CDA has focused on working with children with autism spectrum disorder. She completed her placement at Durham College Speech Clinic and Shining Stars Support Services for Persons with Autism Spectrum Disorders where she worked with toddler, pre-school, and school aged clients both virtually and in person.     Bio: Paula Bulux has an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Studies and Human Geography from the University of Toronto. During her school placement, she worked at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Centre in The Child Development Program. Here she gained valuable experience providing outpatient services to children with complicated diagnoses such as cerebral palsy, stroke, cleft lip and palate as well as children on the severe end of the spectrum.
